Video Game". This category considers all episodes and can be based on either
Toonami or Uncut versions. Judged on overall quality of the episode. All

animation that is not 3D or rendered in CGI, like characters talking to each
other in a park with no mechs in sight. Judged on fluidity, artistry and
originality. The judging includes the characters (moving objects) and the
settings (background objects). Although 3D animation may be present in some
scenes, the actual anime portion is what matters here.
"Best Achievement in 3D Animation in an Episode" is all the animation that is
rendered in CGI, like all the races with the mechs. Judged on fluidity, artistry
and originality. The judging includes the use of the 3D animation for each
purpose, and all aspects that are in 3D. Although anime may be blended with
the 3D animation, the actual 3D portion is what matters here.

throughout the entire episode.

overall quality of the team. Since this is a "casual" category, judging need not
be on who is actually the best, but rather which team is your favorite.
