I appreciate your comment-I love to receive comments on my posts and critiques.

It's difficult for me to speak worse of the game, especially considering I haven't played it, so I have a lot of respect for you for likewise not speaking worse of me or my post.

I bought both the Wii on the first day it was released and also the Wii Motion Plus on the first day it was released. I feel that I have given both the system and the peripheral a chance to prove itself. I was excited when I found out that the new Zelda game would focus on the peripheral. Since I am entirely used to both the Wii and the Wii Motion Plus, I should be able to dismiss poor reviews like GameSpot, who gave it a 7.5 for reasons such as control issues. I feel that I would not have it.

For me to consider Skyward Sword the best Zelda game would require some real 'magic', as it were. I didn't get into that aspect in my blog post, but my favorite games of all time (including Ocarina of Time and Super Mario World, to name a few) have a sort of 'magic' to them that really makes the game work above and beyond other games for me.

While I will definitely say that Twilight Princess was a game that disappointed me, it was moreso considering that it was a Zelda game. As a whole, Twilight Princess is a great game, and there are doubtfully too many other games in the genre that would match Twilight Princess.

I certainly hope to give Skyward Sword a chance, but it may not be this year. I will do my best to be able to play the game (perhaps a rental) before I consider a purchase. As an owner of most of the more recent Zelda console games, I certainly want to give Skyward Sword a chance someday, if not sooner than later.

Josh
you said you were disapointed in twilight princess and that reached higher acclaim then skyward

however that also means you got a better idea of what skyward is about

I have been playing it for more then a week now and loving it (it might be my favorite zelda)

and if you love the zelda series i do feel you doing yourself a diservice not getting it

I am a developer for WordStash.com (http://wordstash.com) which is a similar flashcard based learning tool but with better games imo. Check it out, let me know what you think.

Wow, that's weird about Kalawao County -- the fact you can't live or visit if you're under 16. Of course it's also quite strange to have a county with less than 150 populace. o.o

You eat spam now? :x

lol, I don't even know the difference between Japanese and Chinese food.

Aiea -- cool.

Well, it's the sheer fact that they could have come more 'prepared' and actually tried to steal something of value. An interesting story all around, but of course I can't expect much from silly, foolish 17 year olds.

Coronation, remand, amenable, engender, buttress, collusion...

Very surprised you've never heard of these, with super emphasis on engender and buttress. Pretty surprised you've never heard of coronation either. I'm severely disappointed... I don't know if I can ever look at you the same Josh.
